A professional circuit for handigolfers

The DP World Tour announced on Monday the creation of a new real circuit for golfers with disabilities. The G4D Tour (Golf for the Disabled) will benefit from strong support and marks the beginning of a new era!

Seven tournaments against five in 2021, economic, commercial and media support, the world tour dp wanted to give new impetus to the European Disabled Golf Association (EDGA).

New tournaments are planned for the british mastersof the’Irish Openfrom bmw pga championshipof the’European Open and of theMasters of Andalusia. In this context, the accommodation and travel expenses of the players will be covered.

“We are committed to inclusion in the game of golf, it is one of the key pillars of our entity, and it is another chapter in our history that marks a significant evolution in our relationship with EDGA”has declared Keith PelleyDirector ofEuropean tour group.

The EDGA will also become a semi-professional organization whereas until now it was managed by volunteers. The DP World Tour has committed to providing funds through its “Golf for Good” program.
