Invitations have been sent out for the 2022 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, taking place March 30-April 2 in Augusta, and 71 players to date have received the coveted card.
Unlike last year, when three French women participated in this prestigious amateur tournament, the third round of which takes place on the Augusta Masters course, there is currently no tricolor among the invitees.
39 of the top 40 amateur players, including World No. 1 Rose Zhang and runner-up in the 2021 edition Emilia Migliaccio, have confirmed their presence.

Last year, between our three representatives Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, Lucie Malchirand and Candice Mahé, only the top two qualified for the final round after 36 holes. Pauline Roussin-Bouchard took 3rd place one shot from the play-off won by Japan’s Tsubasa Kajitani while Lucie Malchirand took 19th place.
After the professional stages of Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, Lucie Malchrirand and Charlotte Liautier, the best representative of French golf at an amateur level is the Saint-Cloud player Adela Cernousek, currently ranked 95th in the women’s world amateur ranking.
