Elliot’s Friends Golf Classic: Record Amount Raised

Smiling, happy and generous people were in attendance at the 7th Friends of the Elliot Foundation Golf Classic, which raised a record $85,282. Sponsored by Re/Max Elite and the family of Pierre Sansoucy, the activity sold out on June 4 at the Victoriaville Golf Club.

More than 180 golfers, 240 guests, 50 volunteers who care about the Foundation and the well-being of the children of the Bois-Francs/Érable region were present on this beautiful sunny day. Little Isaï Lavigne was also there with his mother Marie-Pier Fleury.

“Another beautiful moment spent with my ti-loup. What a dose of love received today. There were smiles, laughter, fun and lots of love,” said Marie-Pier.

In addition to this beautiful wave of love during the round of golf, nearly 500 boxes of cheese from the Germaines, which included four cheeses from Fromagerie du Presbytère as well as a sausage from Jambonnière, found buyers in the town a few days earlier. classic golf. This activity, added to golf, contributed to the economic success of this fundraiser.

A busy post-covid 2022

Fondation les amis d’Elliot’s agenda will remain busy for the rest of 2022. The Morin family, owners of La Fromagerie du Presbytère in Saint-Élizabeth-de-Warwick, will host their poutine night this year to benefit Elliot’s friends. The activity is scheduled for Friday, August 5.

On August 11, 12 and 13 it will take place at Parc Terre-des-Jeunes in Victoriaville, Rock la Cauze. The Les amis d’Elliot organization was chosen to be the 2022 cause of this outdoor music festival.

Finally, the traditional gastronomic dinner of the Foundation, which has not been held for two years due to the pandemic, will be held on Saturday, November 12, at the Victoriaville Convention Center.
