Located above the village of Megève, the 18-hole golf course at Domaine du Mont d’Arbois is the oldest mountain golf course. Started by Noémie de Rothschild in the 1920s, it was redesigned in 1964 by Henry Cotton, a professional golfer. Maintained like a French garden, the golf course is distinguished by its exceptional view from Mont Joly to the Aravis mountain range. Covering an area of 50 hectares, the course is designed on a plateau and has uniform slopes of 150 meters maximum, at an altitude of 1,320 meters, which provides a playing comfort that golfers will like. Thanks to environmentally friendly management, the fauna and flora are preserved, thus offering a route that integrates perfectly with the mountainous environment.
