Health Services Foundation Golf Tournament: Nicole Bélanger as Honorary President

The MRC de L’Islet Health Services Foundation will celebrate its 19me edition of his charity golf tournament on August 15 at the L’Islet-Sud golf club in Saint-Pamphile. The organizers have elected Ms. Nicole Bélanger as president of the event.

Originally from Saint-Adalbert, she is well known in the region and even outside the region for her involvement in tourism, gastronomy and social affairs. The Foundation wishes to highlight her achievements and her participation as “Personal Favorite”.

In the early 1990s, Nicole began her involvement by renting out tourist residences, farm holiday camps, and Tables champêtres at Ferme Jouvence in Saint-Adalbert. She was a pioneer in the region at this level, which led her to participate in several television programs such as: “On aura tout vu”, “La Semaine verte” and “Les P’tits bonheurs de Clémence” and this, five times. .

Mrs. Bélanger was named “Farmer of the Year in L’Islet-Sud in 1993” and recognized as a personality “I am proud of my community L’Islet” by Rural Solidarity.

He has also published two cookbooks “Loaves of bread and Slices of life” that have allowed us to discover his thirty years of restoration as well as the most significant elements of his life.

The Foundation also highlights its achievements within “L’Ancien Presbytère de Saint-Marcel” for tourist accommodation and for its table d’hôte. The organizers describe the president as a woman of passion, daring and action.
