“I would like a nice car, but my parents…”

Carlos Alcaraz has conquered the top 10 thanks to his success in the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona. The young Spanish talent has already become one of the best tennis players on the circuit and this week he will also try to win the Masters 1000 in Madrid.

Alcaraz was fired to the top of the table alongside Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. For his debut, the 18-year-old from Murcia will face Nikoloz Basilashvili and Fabio Fognini.

If he wins, he could challenge Cameron Norrie in the round of 16. However, the Brit will have to be good to beat the competition from John Isner and Filip Krajinovic. In the quarterfinals, the hypothetical match against Nadal is the dream of all tennis fans.

The previous two are in favor of the Mallorcan, who was imposed for the first time in Madrid to Alcaraz.
The Indian Wells Masters 1000 semifinal, however, was very balanced and showed all the progress of Alcaraz, who forced his rival in the third round.

Carlos Alcaraz: “I would like a nice car, but my parents say…”

In a long interview with the television program El Hormiguero, the Spaniard recounted some episodes related to his private life.

He said: “I haven’t been able to go to many parties, but other than that, it’s not like I’ve missed much. When I get home, I forget I’m a professional tennis player and I come back a perfectly normal guy.

The money? My parents take care of that. If I have to buy something golf that I love, no problem. But I always fight with them to try to buy a nice new car!” Alcaraz also dwelled on the diet he follows before his matches: “The day before a match I usually eat rice and fish.

Then, an hour and a half before a match, I eat pasta with 100% cocoa cream. Then dates and olive oil to give me energy. ”
