Le Puy-en-Velay: qualification at the taekwondo club

On Saturday, a mid-season grading session took place at the Puy-en-Velay dojang, involving the club’s students, children and adults, practicing taekwondo.

The evaluation related to the technical acquisitions worked from the beginning of the season and allowed the trainees to express themselves on their know-how: gestural precision, stability and technical coordination.

In the requested program: the poomsé (compulsory exercise), attack defenses, blocks, sequences of punches, kicks and the different positions and movements of taekwondo.

The last one was a non-contact flexible combat test, to measure the different technical acquisitions in real application.

They all gave their best trying to reproduce the technical gestures learned during the different training sessions.

For the little ones, the required exercises were different and adapted to their age and morphology.

The next evaluation will take place at the end of the sports season.
