Villeneuvois knows how to export well. Thus, very recently, the Lo Vent Taekwondo club, wanted by president Amar Dif, held a medal table during the Jordan-Famc International Open in Barcelona. A competition that brought together nearly 300 participants with 10 teams wearing the colors of Spain, Italy, England, Luxembourg and France. Five young people from Villeneuvo were invited to the Catalan party and they all came back with an amulet in their suitcase. The palm d’or has returned to Badys Beroual after climbing to the highest step of the podium in the cadet category. As for Kylian Carpentier (7 years old), Yazid El Goumi (6 years old), Damien Falbo Tizziano (6 years old) and Dif Souleymane (6 years old), they obtained a very good bronze medal with a still very significant margin of Progress. Enough to give a smile to his teacher Lounes Beroual having also noticed the first steps as coaches of Sofiane and Badys. All these little champions will surely meet at the Open de Villeneuve scheduled for October 15 with also the 2022-2023 regional championship.
